Account Information: If you choose to sign up or use favorites syncing across devices, we collect your name, email address, and authentication tokens provided through Firebase Authentication.
Location Data: To help you find Murugan temples nearby, the app uses your device's GPS coordinates. This location check is processed locally on the device; we do not store, track, or share your physical location history.
User-Generated Content: Photos of temple visits, reviews, and ratings that you choose to submit to the directory.
2. How We Use and Share Information
Your information is used solely to provide and improve the services of the Lord Murugan companion application:
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third-party advertising companies.
We utilize trusted service providers (such as Google Maps SDK, Firebase Database, and Storage) to operate map functions and secure local data synchronization. These providers only process information as required to run these platform features.
Approved reviews and temple photos are displayed publicly in the temple directory for other devotees, credited with your user badge.

Our mobile app implements custom offline-first caching using encrypted local Room Databases. All network communications to our APIs are secured using HTTPS with SSL pin verification to prevent unauthorized interception.
4. Your Choices & Data Deletion
You have full control over your data:
You can browse the directory, read scriptures, and listen to devotional songs offline without ever creating an account.
You may request complete account deletion, including reviews and photo submissions, by sending an email request to our support team.
